To support new customers, new products and increasing demand we now require motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly and passionate teams as ‘Manufacturing Technician’. Manufacturing strength and expertise is one of our key assets, joining an experienced team, you will receive full training in all aspects of the role over a period which will be partly dictated by your level of experience.

Immediate starts available for candidates who meet the specified criteria (subject to the required Right to Work in the UK checks).

This role would suit individuals who are technically minded, who have experience in a similar position and who have a keen interest in operating manufacturing machinery. Manufacturing products into a fast moving environment that include the flexibility to work at either our Lancaster or Morecambe sites, Department cover may be needed to support shifts within the scope of the available working hours.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience of operating manufacturing machinery
  • Attention to detail.
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Exceptional Planning and organisational skills
  • Computer literate to comply with internal and External IT Systems.

DUTIES

  • To operate safely and efficiently, changeover and clean down production machinery and equipment
  • Support new product introduction through machine/product trials
  • Ensure the flow of raw materials into the production area meet the planned requirements in a timely manner
  • Prepare any appropriate documentation to an accurate standard
  • Conduct machine operator preventative maintenance schedules as well as quarterly calibrations and inspections.
  • Ensure routine inspections are carried out to ensure products meet their required specifications
  • Support the manufacturing team with requests for assistance, as and when required

RATE OF PAY

  • In return, we offer a salary dependent on experience.
