OBJECTIVE.
This role covers the responsibilities of planning, requesting of raw materials and components which includes manual dexterity and the ability to deliver on time to meet manufacturing requirements
Hours of work
07.00-15.30 Monday to Thursday / 07.00-12.30 Fridays
14.00-22.30 Monday to Thursday / 11.00-16.30 Fridays
KEY TASKS:
REQUIREMENTS
Computer/IT – Comply to internal and External IT operating systems, record keeping for all machines and processes they oversee, which requires proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
Communication - Verbal and listening skills to ensure efficient transfer of information between team members. Confident to address and troubleshoot problems (keeping in mind that these might be high-pressure situations and need to keep calm under pressure).
Documentation - Written skills are important, maintain accurate and clear documentation that proves manufacturing is being carried out in accordance with both internal and external quality systems or regulations. It is important that procedures are followed, but it is also important that it can be shown and proved that procedures were followed.
Measurement - Monitor and perform routine inspections for identifying when components will be required and acting to deliver and meet production demands. Monitoring the output of automated assembly line or station.
Reporting – Provide relevant feedback to highlight any key issues to Department Supervisor, Production QA and/or Manufacturing Technician which could/will develop into delays or plan changes.
Attention to detail - Follow strict internal protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Know the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at a trained level and informing senior members of the team to raise corrective actions.
Lean Manufacturing Skills - Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process or apply six sigma to reduce output variation.
