Hi, my name is Adrian Sutton and I am the Managing director at FMP. I had the pleasure to join FMP in July 2018 and now form part of the senior leadership team on site in Lancaster. I have over 30 years of experience in medical device and pharma manufacturing, which will be used to support our people and company strategy and vision. I take a great deal of enjoyment from developing people so that they can meet potential challenges. Here at FMP we have a great family of employees, with a wealth of experience and dedication to the company, I look forward to working with them all and developing a successful and rewarding place to work.

I have worked at FMP since 2009. I started with FMP in a temporary role as a Sales Administrator before effectively working my way through the business to become part of the Senior Leadership Team in 2018. Being involved with both the strategy and growth of the business over the last 6 years has been exciting and challenging to say the least. Growth from £12.4m in 2018 to £21m in 2023 has made it an exciting journey. FMP has a great family feeling ,despite the rapid growth that we have seen over the last few years, it really makes it a joyous place to work. I have extensive knowledge in Customer Relations and really enjoy meeting and developing relationships with both existing and new partners of FMP. I have returned to education to further my career and despite being faced with new challenges I am surprisingly enjoying it. Team collaboration and the development of my team has always been really important to me and watching them develop and go from strength to strength has been very rewarding indeed. I am very passionate about introducing new technologies and processes to FMP and the future is looking very exciting…..

I am a Chemical Engineering Graduate. I have worked in Manufacturing for 20 years making everything from Toilet roll to Cement for repairing broken skulls. I have managed production, engineering, quality and warehouse teams in previous roles and I am a qualified Lean six sigma blackbelt. In this role I am looking forward to working with the FMP team to support the company in reaching its growth targets and strategic goals. I am married and have 2 children (a 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old son), 1 dog (a big dopey Labradoodle) and 2 cats. I’m a sports and outdoors enthusiast. I like cycling, running, swimming, rugby and football (I don’t play the last 2 anymore as my knees can’t take it). I support Gloucester Rugby team and when it comes to football, I follow Man Utd and Forest Green Rovers.

Finance Manager

Hello my name is Wayne Fletcher and I am the Finance Manager at FMP. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CIMA), I joined the Company in 2015 as Business Improvement Manager and transitioned into the new role in 2020. My journey through the magical world of finance started in the automotive industry back in the eighties (yes I really am that old!), then wine and spirits (hic!), jumping from equestrian to oil and gas… and now my final resting place in medical. I have the spreadsheet scars to prove it. I am passionate about business and strive to make a difference and am proud to be part of an extremely good team here at FMP.

Quality Manager

Desiree joined FMP in 1991 and has numerous experiences with roles including sales, marketing, and quality. In 2012 Desiree took on the role of Quality Assurance Manager at FMP, leading a team which is responsible for ensuring FMP compliance and adherence to a quality management system, maintenance of ISO13485, management of company policies and procedures and meeting the essential requirements associated with the manufacture of medical devices. Desiree is a knowledgeable and valuable member of the team and is able to support both internal and external customer requirements in a professional and efficient manner.

I am a HR Manager and business partner with 20 years of professional experience, oriented on working in international organizations. In my daily duties, I benefit from high-quality practical knowledge in the scope of HR projects and processes management, as well as building structures and optimal team management. This enables me to lead subordinate HR teams to achieve high results in target and KPI execution. I specialize in process and procedures optimization, building efficient managerial teams, managing extensive HR projects, design and creation of HR policy and strategy as well as development of internal communication on all levels up to the executive staff. I am familiar with the HR dilemmas and challenges faced by companies. I had the opportunity to develop my competencies and confront my knowledge by successfully implementing projects in international organizations (including greenfield investments), primarily in the automotive industry, as well as aviation and manufacturing.

I am Anthony Bateson and I joined FMP back in 1990 so I have lots of experience working in different roles in FMP. I have enjoyed the variety and the opportunity to work with so many knowledgeable and brilliant people along the way during my thirty-year journey. I eventually chose my path (or it chose me) and I became Production Manager, whilst continuing my role as a member of Senior Leadership Team. There is never a dull moment and we are busier than ever. My challenge is to constantly create value in everything we do and as Henry Ford said, “Quality means doing it right when no one is looking”. As we are committed to hiring the best talent we can at FMP (and we retain them), I can honestly say I work with a great group of people who make work a pleasure. I am very passionate about team collaboration and people development so we can help others achieve their goals. In our fast-paced environment I am confident that we can meet our challenges head on and deliver a first-class service for all our customers and partners. The future has never looked so interesting!

Supply Chain Manager

My name is Lisa, and I am the Supply Chain Manager here at FMP. I am proud to say that I have been part of the FMP journey for over three decades and I have seen the business grow into what it is today so for me, it certainly does not feel like thirty years, and I still love what I do. I originally joined FMP as a sales administrator and worked in different departments within the business to build up my skills and knowledge before eventually settling in our newly formed purchasing department, which was just me! The business continued to grow, as did our teams and I was soon managing a brilliant team of buyers and sourcing experts. I have been fortunate enough to study for a degree whilst at FMP and after years dodging it, I finally have my CIPS Advanced Diploma and am heading for MCIPS after all this time. I have always loved studying and it is one of my greatest hobbies, from research on the internet to books and publications, learning is my lifelong love (even CIPS). Apart from that, I just like spending time with my dog and going on long walks. I am also lucky enough to say that my job is also my first hobby and not just work, simply because I enjoy it so much.

Technical Manager

I joined FMP in 2007. I have worked in product development and problem solving for over 30 years. My current role in FMP is to provide technical support / assistance to customers and potential customers. I contribute to new product development by helping to outline technical definition of the products and suitable materials to be used. I have a background in analytical chemistry and product formulation, I have an interest in nutrition and supplementation which is increasingly relevant to new product enquiries. I work with the customer (internal or external) to define regulatory compliance requirements. I oversee the in-house validations including operational, performance and cleaning validations.
